Friends, Family, Feather Dusters, Fun

My mama is, of course, here in LA with me and Daddy, but she is really wishing that she could have been in Boston this weekend, for her {ahem} 10th high school reunion. sigh.

Here she and I are visting a few of those lovely Winsor gals last summer...
...and a few more summers ago...
and a few summers before that....
She misses her friends quite a bit! But she and I are looking forward to seeing them this summer! We are very, very excited that summer is not so far away now!

Meanwhile, back at the Rancho Relaxo, we are trying to keep up our spirits. One guaranteed way of doing so is playing in my new TENT, a gift from lovely cousin Clem. I loved it so much that Mama took it up a notch by adding a tunnel.

Mama, Daddy, Champ and I had a family meeting and agreed that nothing says, "elegant L.A. chic" like parking a large tent 'n' tunnel combo in your living room. And so we did just that.

Doesn't it just complete the room!?!
But it is oh so fun.



Sadly, despite my best intentions, life here in the city of angels is not all play and no work. As USWeekly would say,

They do housework all weekend!

We scrub the tub...


We put away our shoes...

We make the bed (Check me out in the corner..and check out my mom and dad's elegant bedskirt..NOT! People, please, those two really need to take it up a notch, no?)

We gather piles of things to put somewhere else (at least that what my mom says counts as housework!)...

We put away "our" PJs...

We survey our work....

And we declare it done!

And on that note, "Let's go hit the tent again, mama!"
