Kicks

Tonight KR got her first pair of lace-up shoes.  In the absence of my favorite stride-rite primary colored classic sneakers, we went with another classic, the Chuck Taylor.

She's so happy with them, she took this photo and about 14 more identical ones on the way home:

(Btw, those are her knee socks that she's worn pulled over her knees all night... But then decided to scrunch down "like leg warmers.")

A few highlights from my Christmas vacation

On New Year's Eve we sipped 'champagne'

We did lots of arts and crafts

Legos were a constant

I went retro in a vintage dress of mom's

I spent tons of time with Grandma Betsy who somehow managed to dodge the camera ... and I was very loving to my little brother.
