I have a lot of catching up to do on post, but in the meantime, here are a few from Christmas.

This weekend I took my mom ice skating.  Just the two of us.  She was a bit anxious,not having been on skates since the winter of 1989.  But it was tons of fun and I was fearless!

How 'bout a slice?

Just got back from 'Frisco where sightseeing didn't really happen but I did have a slice of NYC-style pizza.  

I also went to Starbucks twice with my grandma Betsy. 

And spent a fair amount of time in the hotel while my parents were out whooping it up!

Apparently the dance floor was hopping!

Maybe it's because the band was so great!?

Mom and I were at it again, painting our fingers and toes...and nose, too, in my case!

And Thursday night we went our for a special treat... I got a fro yo and a pair of whiskers!

There's a first time for everything

Today was St. Matthew's Day.  I went with my family to a big picnic and celebration at St. Matthews's and I got a beautiful butterfly on my face.  It even lasted pretty well by afternoon.

And then later today, for the very first time, I went with my mom to get our fingers and toes polished with real grown up nail polish! (I used to call it Paul nailish.)

I did hot pink topped with glitter and mom did dark red.

I worked hard not to smudge!

Heat wave

It is *hot* here today.  Like 99 degrees hot!  So it's possible that we were all a little relieved when Mama's car didn't start today and we couldn't go play soccer at the park where it's even hotter!

So we stayed home and did some artwork with my stamps:

Possibly the most fun part was when I had the idea to wash all my stamps. I love to clean!  

So as soon as I finished that, I suited up so I could go outside "to scrub".  That is my request!

I'm becoming a huge help around the house.  Last weekend, I cleaned my room myself!
