Office talk

Last week I dropped by mama's office for a quick chat.

We took care of business! And then we had some chocolate! All in a day's work, she says.

This weekend Namma was here.  Her visit was too brief, but we packed in the fun.  We looove tea parties!

 

Saturday morning we headed to the aquarium, despite torrential downpours!  (This is not Namma, or Mama in the scuba suit, in case you are wondering.)

 

 We played a lot there -- indoors and out.

 

It was such fun.  We also went to a restaurant and I ate pizza!

Clearly, Namma came to see me, but don't tell that to this guy:

 He even slept in Namma's room with her!

After Namma left, I was sad, so Mama treated me to some fun.  We went to a store where I played doctor's waiting room and bus.

 

And then i really did get a treat - a sprinkle donut!

 

Then to cap it all off, a visit from Nick and his baby sister tonight!

Measuring up

I love to use my measuring tape.  Or more specifically my mom's measuring tape.

What I don't like is when mama takes it away from me! 

Soft-baked, yum!

Thursday night we had soft-baked chocolate cookies. (Translation: store-bought chips-ahoy.)

 

My favorite cookies have been "chocolate tantrum" cookies (so named because it looks like the cookie in this book, but known to you as Milanos) and "poster" cookies (known to you as Petit Ecoliers... I gave them their name because of the chocolate 'poster' picture on the cookie.)  

Anyway, those *were* my favorite cookies ... until now!

 I love these cookies! I could --and have attempted to -- pack away quite a few of these!

Hey lolly!

I wanted to wear my backpack to school today.

 

It was so heavy - I loaded it up with several books, half a set of dominos, several random doodads, and who knows what else.  I decided quickly to leave it at home.

 

 After school, I really wanted a popsicle.  I love juice pops!

 Don't be taking my popsicle away!
