A true artiste

I did some artwork today.  I take my painting pretty seriously.

I'm kind of a toddler's answer to Jackson Pollack.

Meanwhile, having gotten "my wiggles" out by playing soccer, having some adventures on the town with dad, and lots of fun in the backyard today, I worked hard at keeping my room clean and organized.  My mom overhead me saying to my dad, "One toy at a time, Daddy.  We need to keep the room organized."  My mama was very, very happy!

A belated post

Sorry for yet another absence.  It's been a busy month around here, and I've barely been able to get my mom to take photos, let alone download them and help me post to the blog!  So, here are some pics from my fun visit with Namma and Papa in December!

We went to the aquarium one day!
And another day we rode the merry-go-round...

... and played in Namma and Papa's hotel room
(I do love to channel Eloise!)

To get ready for our holiday meal, we baked muffins and other treats,
and we had a delicious meal,
 ...and lit our Hanukkah candles!
My Namma and Papa gave me many special presents, like a pair of tap shoes and a tutu, and my own beauty supply kit.
This is mama showing me how to use my new hairdryer.  Isn't it funny what a tom-boy I am?!

Well, hope you enjoyed this blast from the recent past.  I will really try to become a better poster in 2012.

By popular demand!

Someone asked to see some pics of my peepers.  Well, here are a couple taken on my latest trip to the salon.

Do you remember my beautiful long blonde curls?
My goofy mama loved those curls, but she didn't love brushing out the snarls!

So we decided that I would go and get a chic bob for the holidays!
Lollipops are always the highlight of the salon visit!
That, and the Dora videos they show!
Lollipops may be "too sticky" (as I sometimes tell my mom), but they are so good, aren't they?
What do you think of my pageboy bob?
My mom sniffled a little at seeing the curls disappear, but she thinks I look terrific and very grown-up!

Luckily, not *too* grown up, though!

On the mend

I am starting to feel better, at last.  But poor me, the recovery is slow.  (To make matters worse, my poor Tia has the flu now, too!)

Monday Mama came home from work to take care of me, and we had a parade.
And later I got to open a special present!
I happen to adore Olivia! (After watching about 6 episodes of it on Saturday, my mom happens to be really, really sick of the televised Olivia.  So she is glad that I can get my Olivia fix through a book.)

And in other news, here is a favorite game of mine. It's called pretend napping!
(My mom sees it as more of "total chaos creating.")

Hi folks

Today is Saturday, which is usually my most favorite day of the week.  But alas, I have the flu.  My tummy is oh-so upset and I just feel very, very yucky.  So mama and I are sitting on the sofa "enjoying" a cartoon marathon and ever so slowly sipping pedialyte.  I hope I'll have a full recovery to report soon.

But in the meantime, here's a look back at some of the fun things I've been up to lately:

It's been so warm and sunny lately.  In the 80s this week and last week, too!  So, I got started on some spring cleaning of my patio furniture.
And mama and I had to go out for ice cream at least once!
We went to visit my friend Nick and his dog.
You can see I'm not that into dogs.  Neither is Nick.

Dogs are so boring, aren't they?

Santa brought me a new toothbrush, which has made brushing more fun!
I will post more photos of my Namma and Papa's visit when we get a chance. Bye for now!

Happy New Year!

Here is the outfit I put together yesterday.  I love flowers and I love my "ruby slippers!"
I thought I might try out a chic scarf with it, too!
