Happy Halloween!

I have always been a bit dubious about this whole Halloween thing - can you tell?
You might notice that I'm not wearing *either* of my initially planned costumes. Weeks ago I asked to be a "bunny" and mama got to work on the cutest grey and pink bunny costume right away. Then I changed my mind to princess, so pink slippers and a pink dress and even a petticoat were soon in order. But today - well, nothin' doing. It was this dress and these shoes or else!

I told mama this is a princess outfit. And who is she to argue?

Anyway, once I had sampled a bit from our own stash, I set out.
The business of ringing a doorbell was a bit scary. But everyone was so nice!I visited almost every house on the block!
It was exhausting! But fun and I got more and more bold as I went along.

Meanwhile, back at home, Daddy had exactly three doorbell rings tonight! Our neighborhood is not exactly hopping. First ring around 5pm -- all the kids from across the street.
Second ring, 30 minutes later a cute little girl that ended up on Bienveneda by mistake! I met her trick-or-treating and broke it to her that she meant to go to a neighborhood in downtown Palisades... And third, moi! Daddy was so surprised to see me!
What a night! Happy halloween everyone!
(ps -isn't mama a spooky witch!?)

A "Fairly" Fun weekend!

This weekend, once again we packed in the fun! Including a trip to the fair at Palisades High School. It was cuh-razy.

I saw lots of friends, and rode the train with my special friend Nick. Mama and I went on the wild moon bounce. (She had enough before I did!)
I fed lots of goats and other animals - loooved the petting zoo!

And then Mama and I did a quick tour of the high school, so I could imagine what life would be like as a big kid!
Yes, I think I would like this!

(and ps tonight I helped make dinner. I'm a whizz in the kitchen!)

House Hunting

I have my eye on a new house for my babies 'n' me. It came in the mail yesterday. It may look just like a cardboard box to you, but I see POTENTIAL! I have already decorated it twice over in my head. (I use lifewithchamp.blogspot.com for inspiration, of course!)

Tonight we are pooped so we're going to watch Fox and the Hound. My first Disney movie!

Gooooal! And splash!

OK, here's hoping that our soccer shots upload this time.

I really enjoyed my first day of soccer!

You can see that we are a well-oiled machine.
About 10 girls and one boy,
running sprints,
dribbling the ball,
And everyone gets to make a goal!
As if that wasn't enough to be having such fun on the fields, this morning we had a fabulous outing to the beach.
Here's my boyfriend Jackson. We make a great couple, don't we!

What a splash! I mean blast!

Phew!

It's been a busy weekend already, and it's only half over!
Today mama told me we were starting soccer practice. What's that?
Well, I sure found out! What fun!

oops, now this darn blogger is freezing up (or maybe it's iPhoto's fault?) Well, either way I can't get photos of my soccer debut to load, so you'll have to survive another Katie Ray Cliffhanger. Photos to come tomorrow, I hope!

P.S.

Happy birthday to my baby cousin Otto! He is ONE year old today!
(and since this blog is "all about me" after all, here's what I looked like one year ago!) My, how time flies!

Bubblicious

We're having a heat wave in Los Angeles. It was almost 100 degrees today, and it's *still* almost 80 right now at 7:30pm!It was a good day to play outside with some bubbles!

Fun!

Blue Hands Group

I looove painting!! My mom prefers that I limit my painting to paper, but painting my hands is also quite fun.
I guess I took the term "finger painting" quite literally!
Have you noticed that when my mom says, "Smile!" I close my eyes?
So mama said "Make a silly face!" in case that gets me to smile!
Well, maybe it made you smile?
