What we've been up to...

Here are a few quick pics from Grandma Betsy's visit. We went to the park that has a water feature.

And we had a few backyard picnics.

Picnics are about my favorite thing these days! That and tea parties. My babies and animals and I had a musical tea party picnic two nights ago.

The turtles like to sing

I named my beagle Stephanie and she likes to play flute.

Mama is on tambourine.

Fun!

But all that musical tea partying worked up a sweat and I needed a run through the sprinklers!

My Namma and other special friends

I forgot to post some photos from my namma's visit before I went back to Boston. My mama managed all of about four pics, but she tried!
I am actually starting to like merry-go-rounds more and more.
But keep me on the stationary "rides" please - a teacup, a carriage or a pony that doesn't jump.
That's plenty exciting for me! (And mama too, I guess.)

Now here are some more vacation pics. My friend Max and Lucy's mama sent them.

I mentioned our day at the beach house with them. Can you imagine how much fun this was!
Luckily Max and Lucy's mama and daddy are very patient people!
Look at sweet baby Lucy! She is beyond adorable.
And look at mama and her buddies - more than 20 years of friendship!
They met in first grade, of course!

On the very last day of vacation, I went to Boston with Max and Lucy (I think our moms came too, can't remember). It was the most fun day!

We rode on the Swan Boats.

We made way for ducklings...

We rode the merry-go-round (like I said, how beautiful is baby Lucy!!)

And topped it all off with a short dip in the Frog Pond.

At the end of all that, we still found ways to have fun!
(Speaking of cute, I have a big crush on handsome Max and his innate and dapper fashion sense!)

Last but not least, here's a pic of my mama, Kristen and Cara, another baby-hood friend of mama's. They have been friends nearly 30 years! Don't ask why my mom is posing like a bozo, sometimes that's just how she rolls, I guess!

Vacation photos - just a few

Well, at last here are some pictures from my wonderful vacation back east. They aren't well organized, sorry about that! This is just dispatch one of a few. Well, here goes.

I finally met sweet Otto!!!

And I palled around all week with Clementine.

(somehow their mom and dad dodged the camera, but they were there too, of course)

We made bread with my Papa.

Nama and I read many books and did many puzzles, and generally lolled about together.

Most days I liked to do some art.

Mama wanted to go to Dunkin Donuts basically every morning. Luckily sometimes we actually ate a square meal at home.

Putting up the flag with my Papa. He's very patriotic!

My mama and I went to visit our friends Kristen and Micah in their new cape house. Their handsome son Max and beautiful baby girl Lucy are the cutest as are Sophie and Nina, and their mama Alisa - all seen here. Top two photos at the famous Four Seas ice cream, #3 is Craigville Beach.

Later, my mama's friends Susan and Tom and their three fun, beautiful, and awesome girls came for the weekend.

It was so mellow...

I had such a wonderful time! Sunsets were beautiful...

Can you see I have lipstick all over my face? That's courtesy my Nama who allowed me to play make-up! Gorgeous, no?

After swimming every day, bathtime was a must.

I will miss you, Cape Cod, and all my friends and family! See you soon!

Minty Fresh

I still have many, many, many pictures to post from my wonderful adventures on Cape Cod and in Boston, as well as my Grandma Betsy's visit (miss you already!) But in the meantime, here's how I spent my night last night:

Eating mint chip ice cream!

I didn't mean to match my ice cream to my dress. It's just my favorite flavor. But then, after one bite of my mama's cookies n cream I decided I needed her bowl too, so a new favorite may have been found.

All of these sweet treats were preceded by dinner out on the town.
