Afternoon activities today included:
Taking a looong nap (dancing with friends at music class = three hour nap ahead!) This was nice for mama and daddy, they would be happy to admit.
Playing dress up (Not pictured is the pair of size 6 months pants I insisted on trying on -successfully. Then I settled on this terry cloth dress. My mom is not generally a fan of the idea of Disney princesses, but I received this dress as a hand-me-down and guess who now loves the princesses.)
Working on my real estate portfolio (notice that the dress-up dress stayed on)
Then taking care of my babies really took a lot of time. You know how it is for busy mamas like me! First I had to give them baths. Luckily my kitchen has a generously-sized sink just right for a little lamb.
All clean! Let's go night night now.
Those two monkeys really didn't want to go to sleep. I had to rock them for ages...
Finally I got them to bed
So, at last we grown-ups could relax a little and enjoy some Mexican take-out, some singing, some good times.
And then eventually, at long, long last, I got ready for bed.
Don't tell anyone, but Mama let me stay up until 9:30 tonight! I'm still awake right now, singing in my bedroom.
I don't think so.
Now I spend my mornings checking up on the news of the day in Dora-ville or Elmo-land.

But mama just can't stop trying to get me to go for the pony! I prefer ponies of a different variety: My Pretty Ponies. See below. I inherited a stable's worth and love to tote them around. I am all girl these days (not on camera: I used a red crayola marker to paint on nail polish tonight!!)
Mama made a chickpea and curry dish for dinner. Guess who wasn't interested.
So I convinced my daddy to make me something a little more my style: peanut butter toast.
Also right up my alley: mac n cheese. I request this at least twice a week! Seen here - Monday dinner of shells 'n' cheese and banana slices. So healthy!
So far, we're mostly dancing at the home barre. A few more shots from home life:
