recent shots

Sorry we haven't been posting a lot lately. Or at all. we've been so busy! But I'm trying to do a little more catch-up today.

Here are a few shots from recent days. A few weekends ago my grandma betsy came for a visit. In this pic, I'm wearing my brand new cardigan made by my absolute favorite fashion designer: Grandma!
And here I am in another beloved outfit. I have insisted on wearing these tights several times, even though they are a teeny-weeny bit long!

One day I tried to get mama to bring me to work. i thought I'd just hide beneath the paperwork!
I like to play dress up in mama's closet. do you like my "slip dress" - also known as a tank top that my auntie Amy lent my mama back in 1997. I think it's pretty glamourous!
I think it would go well with a basic 4" slingback, but I can't quite figure out how to put on shoes like this.

And finally, in case you haven't heard this news, I have a brand new cousin. Go see him in all of his insane cuteness here:

Monkey say, monkey do!

My mama and daddy will be a little embarrassed by this video, I think!

Summer flash back!

You might remember that way back when I went to Oregon with mama and daddy and Champy to visit my grandma. (Grandma Betsy is visiting and was nice enough to give my mama these pics...)

Grandma Betsy brought a friend for me to play with. I just loved her!
We became good buddies.

I had so much fun with my Grandma, too!

Can you see how happy Champy was to be with me?

I love the fresh Oregon air!

And of course I loved just hanging with my daddy and mama. Daddy and I told lots of jokes.

Hope you are having happy memories of summer, too!

recap

So many updates, so little time. So forgive me for being brief.

Tonight for dessert - blueberry smoothies!
Daddy, is there any berry juice on my face?
This weekend we were in the halloween spirit. We did some dry runs of my halloween get-up.
I don't know if wearing mama's sweater as a dress, says "mini witch" or sayonara, katherine-san. But either way, I like it.
We also went searching for pumpkins growing wild in this pumpkin patch just around the corner from us.
Man, who knew that there was a farm so near to our house!
I had my first halloween candy experience. My mama said seeing me was like seeing someone on crack. Although I approached my reese's peanut butter with some hesitation, I got pretty into it and by the time I was polishing it off, I started screaming "candy! candy!"Luckily I forgot my chocolate/peanut butter love-affair pretty quickly.
And took some time to wind down by dancing with my baby doll!

And now as the midnight oil starts to burn, mama is making muffins because tomorrow is my day to bring snacks to my baby group.

PB & J

I had my first PB & J sandwich on Sunday afternoon.
I loved it!

Earlier that morning I decided to have a playdate for many of my beloved lovies, such as bear, baby, turtle, and elmo (who is actually a cookie monster doll, but let's not be too literal here, people.)

It was no easy feat to get them all together.

Boy, it's exhausting to do so much entertaining, isn't it?

Family Dinner

We have a new tradition in the house. Now that I stay up until about 7:45 or 8:00, we all eat dinner together. Friday night we had Mexican and I proved myself a hot tamale when I dipped all my chips in salsa and sucked the salsa off! ay caliente. And if hot wasn't hot enough, last night we did thai food and I gobbled it all down!

Tonight was something milder. But I loved that too!
Cheesy chicken and rice casserole, yum!

In case you're wondering, the orange war paint is not dinner-related but is actually the result of some confusion as to the purpose of my new markers.

Witchy woman

I've already gotten a jump start on planning my Halloween costume.
You might notice my Halloween-y PJs. They won't be part of my costume, but they will be getting a lot of rotation this month!

For my actual costume of good little witch, I'll be in head-to-do black, with lots of dramatic accessories. You know how I roll!

bang, bang, bang!

I got my bangs trimmed tonight.

Of course I left it long in back!My hair is really becoming my crowning glory! (Mama is thinking of dyeing hers to match, natch!)
