Now that I'm a big girl, I really prefer to drink my water out of a big girl cup. No not a sippy, definitely not a bottle.

Hot Town...Summer in the City
It's been over 90 here in L.A. all weekend and was even hotter today. It was literally the hottest day ever today! Click to read LA Times: hottest day on record. Muy caliente!
So Mama prefers me to stay inside all day until it's cool enough to play outside in the evening.
Luckily there are so many great things to do inside, such as keep mama company while she cleans the closet (again),
or I can set up my cake store on Champ's bed,
(though Champ doesn't love that very much!)
Here's hoping tomorrow is a little cooler!

Lions and tigers and nammies and poppas, oh my!
This was a very special weekend because my Namma and Poppa came to town!
One of the best highlights of the weekend was my very first trip to the zoo! I loved seeing all the animals!!

I loved the monkeys, the lions, the giraffes, the bears, the bird and I loved the gorrillas and chimps most of all!

As always, I was busy all weekend with lots of projects. My baby doll needed a bath, you know how babies are!
And then I downloaded some apps for my ipad.
Last but not least, I had to update my blog! Can you see Champ looking over our shoulders? He's whining, "Who's going to help me update *my* blog?" Hopefully we'll get around to that soon.

Hello Again
I apologize for not updating lately. It's been very busy around here with all of us getting readjusted to non-vacation life. It might take a while.
We're trying to get back into the routines. Every morning, I take the puppies out for a walk.

And even with missed naps, early mornings, and late nights, we have found ways to enjoy our L.A. sunshine.
Champ and I have been working on the garden.
Well, I do all the gardening and he does all the enjoying of the sunshine!
This weekend I am missing my daddy who went to Kansas to celebrate the life of his sweet grandma Ruth who passed on away on Wednesday. I wish I could be with the family. Grammy Ruth was 95 years old and she had 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren! Mama and I are thinking of her and all of her family right now.
