Tonight I practiced the recorder for a while.

I am a musical genius, if you must know.

After all that making of music, a sweet little snack might be nice!

Mama, could you get me a cookie or a cracker?

Don't worry, mama, I will get it for myself!

I know the cookies are in here somewhere!

{Mom did not capture this part on film, but I took the biscuit box out of the drawer, and got myself a graham cracker. Mama didn't know I knew how to do that. Silly lady.}

Now I do the happy dance!

Come on, Champ, let's go! Mama just doesn't see how well we share.

blast from the past

My mom hasn't had a chance to take pictures today so here are a few photos from the past.

These are from just a couple of weeks ago...



And this photo was taken a year ago today! I can't believe I was ever so small!

Now I am such a big girl.

All this week when Mama has been getting me ready for bed, I don't even give her a chance to rock me! Instead, as soon as I finish my bottle, I scoot down off her lap and toddle over to my crib and wait for mama to tuck me in. She about wants to cry because I hardly seem like a baby anymore!

Work it, girl!

Maribel told my mama that my skinny jeans caused a stir at the playground! Everyone was wanting to know where to get themselves some comfy jeggings! Not to mention my english bulldog t-shirt. I wasn't telling.

I'm back!

Sorry I've been away from posting for a while, but now I'm back!

It was a busy week around here with recuperating from our big trip, lots of work at, well...work (for mama), and then we've been getting ready for another big weekend. My Auntie Shannon came to visit to help host Auntie JoAnn's bridal shower! Here are a few shots of our fun day.

After the shower we had many more adventures... dinner in West Hollywood {I wasn't invited}, trip to Malibu, visits to the playground and I even got to go out to dinner tonight for Mexican food!


Before the shower, we did a lot of cleaning and preparation. Here I am helping do some housework.

Family Reunion

Well, we just flew back from Colorado...and boy, are my arms tired!

But seriously folks, we are a little tired because we just had a wonderful family reunion in Colorado in honor of my Great-Grandma Dorothy's 100th birthday! Almost 50 people including her daughter, daughter-in-law (aka Grandma Betsy), 7 grandchildren, 13 (I think) great-grandchildren, plus many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and even a great-grand-niece and 2 great-grand-nephews!

Grandma Dorothy is an amazing lady - she is having *another* party on her actual birthday next Sunday in the retirement community where she lives, even after partying all weekend with us! That's not the only reason she's amazing, but she sure is great!

Here are just a few shots of my trip and of my extended family ... Unfortunately I didn't get shots of most of my relatives, because I was very busy running around, getting into mischief, swimming, climbing stairs, nearly falling down stairs, etc. So both my personal photographer and I were frequently otherwise occupied.
