Sayonara SaMo, Hellooo Palisades!

We are leaving Santa Monica tomorrow. I can't believe it. My whole life I have lived in Santa Monica!

So now we are starting a new chapter! I don't think mama and daddy are too excited about "moving day" tomorrow, but I can't wait to wake up in my new house Saturday morning!

Here I am enjoying some cream cheese on toast for breakfast. (Mom is trying to trick me into eating sprouted bread...I tend to suck the cheese off the toast rather than actually eating it, but every once in a while an actual chunk of bread ends up in my mouth.)

Sunday, Sunday

This weekend seemed like any other. Sunday morning I slept late, checked email and relaxed with the paper. The usual.



But then I remembered we're moving this week. Ruh-roh.

We actually worked *all* weekend to pack boxes. Our entire apartment - excepting my room! - is now in boxes.


At the very end of the night, my mama seemed so tired, I offered her this yummy carrot for a snack.
But she didn't want it, so I ate it instead!


You know, this carrot doesn't taste too great.

Oh well.

Mama's on the road and dinner for Champ et moi

My mama's in San Diego for work tonight. She would like to think I miss her as much as she misses me, but I have had a lot of fun with daddy. Here's the photo we sent her from daddy's camera phone.

Mama can't wait to get back to us. Until then, here's some photos from dinnertime the other day.


First, I thought I might whip up dinner myself.

But honestly, it's not easy opening the fridge!

So after a bit, I gave up on that.
This would be easier: "Mama, would you make dinner?"

Now, that's more like it! Yum!

I guess this food looks good to Champ, too!

Although I am about to have my nap right now, I am looking forward to a great day with my valentine!

Mornin'

In the morning, I'm a little slow to wake up. I need to take it kind of slow.

Mama also has a wee bit of trouble with mornings.
But at some point, we are ready to sit down for breakfast.
What is mama going to serve up this morning? (other than top notch comedy?)
