More Grandmotherly Good Times!

How lucky can one girl be? This weekend I got another grandma visit -- this time Grandma Betsy came to town and I have had a whole lotta attention and love.

Grandma spent some time with me doing my favorite thing - reading books!

And some of the time, we just vegged on the couch!

I was very busy all weekend long!I was offering rides on my motorcycle, but I didn't get a lot of takers!Why do people always say I look like a boy!?!
Grandma helped give me my baths.

And back to the couch, Daddy and I had our Sunday morning tradition of watching football! (I think we are both still a little sleepy here... I had a wee bit of trouble sleeping last night, but sweet Daddy was up with me for about 3 hours!)

Serenity Now!

My Nammy came to visit this weekend, and she got a little taste of the calm and serene life that Mama, Daddy, Champ and I enjoy.

Of course, Champ gave her his signature welcome as soon as she arrived!! And I was right behind him!


I find it easy to carve out some peaceful time to read in this calm family scene.

I'm not sure Nammy thought it was so relaxing!


But I know she had a great time with us!!!

The Barefoot Contessa

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. My mom has been busy, and so she hasn't had a chance to help me make my posts. Mea culpa!

Anyway, anyone who knows our home knows that my mom is always slaving over the hot stove, whipping up one gourmet meal after another. {Not!!}

But as a self-taught chef, I can show you how to create some great masterpieces in the kitchen. First you need some top-notch ingredients.

Hmm, this tastes good!

Now mix everything together!

And voila, a masterpiece is served!

Monday night update

Gotta go!!!

Slow food movement?

I have not really gotten on the real food bandwagon yet. I love to eat a piece of cheese or two and I love baby yogurt and I'll eat maybe a puff or two, and I am more or less fine with a jar of baby food here or there.

But don't push me. Nice sweet bananas? I'll take two bites and toss the rest. Frozen fruit chunks? not really for me. Fauxamole (avocados mashed by mom)? Hmmm...

So, we are working on it. Here I am eating a delicious biscuit. I guess I do like carbs. (Like mother like daughter!)



And here it goes on the ground. So much for that!

Just to remember what I looked like just three months ago (and in fact I am wearing these same PJs tonight...) What a difference three months makes!
