Around the world in 80 days

There are many photos to post and stories to share. I have to begin somewhere. The interesting thing about being in Vegas is that you can travel through space and time in the span of just a few days.

Here I am with my parents in Venice's Piazza San Marcos on Thanksgiving day.
Prior to this, I had been to check out the City of Lights. Paris is so lovely this time of year!

And then a funny thing happened on the way to the Forum. My grandparents and I visited the Trevi Fountain.

Vegas Baby!

I am a Vegas Baby in Vegas, baby!

We're here for Thanksgiving, and most of all to celebrate Grandpa's birthday, which is today!
Here are Grandma and Grandpa having a nice civilized breakfast.

And then we kiddos came along. More babies = more chaos, but also much more fun. (Unless you were our waiter.)
So much love!

Must love dogs!

`I have a new favorite book. It's called Puppies. I **love** puppies and this book is full of 'em.

I will crawl across the room for this book, and I will work really hard to get my chubby little hands to open it up to see all those cute puppies!

My mom shot a video of me slithering across the floor and reading the book, but it is far too long, and too filled with my mama cooing over me to post right now. If I can get her to edit it, I'll post it soon.

I've about had it...

Tonight on mama's and my daily outing to that gourmet boutique outpost, Ralph's, I was once again referred to as a boy. I was wearing: pink shirt, pink socks, leopard print shoes and wrapped in a pink blanket. Who dresses their boy that way? Don't ask me. It kind of hurt my feelings.

Well mama and I had a conversation and she told me that I'm already a beautiful baby girl and very feminine and she said, "just you wait, as soon as that hair of yours sprouts, boy oh boy!!"

I wonder what I will look like then......

Maybe I will look like Reese Witherspoon?
Or Farrah Fawcett?
It's unlikely, but maybe I'll end up looking like a young Suri Cruise!
I think there are two styles I'm hoping I won't end up with.

Anyone remember the Rachel? not for me!
And today's latest updo is another I'll pass on. Sorry Sarah P.!
For future reference, please pass the word that outfits like this are for GIRLS!!! Hair or no hair, people -- I'm a girl!

Champ knows I'm 100% woman!

Me & My Girls

Today I had a wonderful visit with some of my favorite girls. We had lunch at one of my regular haunts, Chateau Marmont, mais oui.

No pictures allowed at the Chateau, so I don't have any pics of our day out (or of Oliver Platt and Warren Beatty who were there too!)

But don't think mom lets a day go by without photos. Here I am with some of my other favorite girls.

I take good care of all of my babies.

Morning with my mama

I have a tendency to get up verrrry early in the morning. Normally mom sits in my room with me, sipping her coffee and watching me play and wishing she weren't awake at, say, 5:45am.

But this morning she decided that we could have an early morning adventure together.

Rise and Shine, mama! Let's get going!

Here we are walking on Olympic Boulevard...the traffic is very light at dawn.
(this street is normally as busy as a highway!)
Mama brought me to see a beautiful sight:
DONUTS! she called them. And then she said that next summer, she'll take me to a place where the donuts are even better.
I didn't actually get a donut today, but while mama had her healthy donut treat, I had my own treat.

And later I had other things to eat.

I'm Seven Months Young!

I used to be smaller than all my toys. But now I'm such a big girl!

Way back when...
Back to today, I had a fun day today. I tried prunes for the first time. Yum!
Goodnight now!
Good night, Beagle!
Goodnight, Bunny!
Goodnight, Baby, that looks like me!

Excuse me, Mr. DeMille!

I'm ready for my close-up!

In other news, I think it's funny when my friend Champ makes piles of things he wishes were his, and gets really cozy with them. Here is one example:

Doesn't that just make you laugh?

And in more totally different news...

I am once again having a teeny tiny bit of trouble sleeping. I think it's growing pains. Some nights I can snooze away for two five-hour stretches. But other nights, I think, "why even bother putting me in bed. I am just not going for it. waaaaah!!!!"

It probably won't help matters that mama and daddy lowered my crib mattress today (the doctor said I could find a way to toss myself out any day now, so for my safety, the mattress had to be lowered.) I feel so far away! And I was just getting used to sleeping in a crib at all!

I like to be cozy and snuggly and I don't particularly like being sprawled out in my big bed all by myself! Can you blame me?

Back in the day when I was a wee little thing, I could sleep in my baby carriage, pulled right up next to mama. Oh how I liked that.
Or I could snuggle under a blanket in my swing and just slip off to dreamland.

But see how big my bed is now? (Here's me during my nap today) Wish me luck!
