Misty water-colored memories...

My mom cannot believe how fast I am growing! She feels like it was only a few days ago that I was a pudgy little newborn, not even willing to open my eyes.

Was really all so simple then, or has time rewritten every line?

{flashback to} memories, like the corners of my mind...

Could someone please slow the hands of time!?

That Rascal Champ

My brother Champ is not very happy when he's not the center of attention. Unless it's my attention, then he's not very happy when he IS the center of attention. But he better get used to it!

See how he circled back to check out what's happening?

But here, he's having second thoughts!
I think I heard him whisper, "Dad, rescue me!"

Well, I don't care, I'm just a happy baby!

I believe I can fly

I believe I can touch the sky

Travelin' Blues

I am feeling blue tonight, as my mom and I just canceled our vacation plans. We were planning to leave in the morning for five days in Jackson, Wyoming with my grandma and grandpa. But I've been sick for the past two weeks and we just don't think it's a good idea for me to fly. It's a major bummer and I'm expressing my blues by crying all night tonight!

I was going to carry my own brand new duffel bag. It has my initials on it, and it is big enough for all my clothes, all my toys, and probably the kitchen sink and my dog, too. I am not known for traveling light.
holy heavy bag, batman!

Sweet Little Blue Eyes

Baby's Best Friend

I finally noticed that there was someone else living here with us. Now I have decided I love him, but the feeling is not yet mutual!

Now I am FOUR months old!

I am so big! Sixteen pounds and seven ounces and I'm 25 inches long.

And I used to be much smaller!

Sniff Sniff

Well, things are a bit rough around here, as I am battling a cold. This has left me very cranky (and my parents a bit weary.) Nevertheless, I will battle through this case of the sniffles to share a photo or two.

"mama, is that you I see?"

"Wow! It is you!"

Summer Recap

Those lazy hazy days of summer have been flying by, and I haven't shared so many of my favorite memories. So forgive me for my lack of explanation, but I just want to get these pictures out there!
Back in June, when I was in Boston, I went to visit my Great Uncle Jimmy and was lucky enough to see cousin Kevin who was there, too!
Then Grandma Kate and my mom and I went down to the Cape. Yay! I love the Cod! Luckily Grandma had a day to relax with me, before she got a major case of TCO (total cuteness overload)!:

{this is me with cousin Clementine. I luv her!}

Then we celebrated fourth of July. This is appropriate because we were essentially in the cradle of American Independence!I consider myself a real patriot, and wanted to show my American pride with my red, white and blue outfit. These colors don't run!

But even the proudest American needs a nap now and again...

Gotta go, but that's the first of {hopefully many} summer recap dispatches.

Summer lovin' happened so fast!

I just got back from five fun-filled days in sunny Salem, Oregon to visit my Grandma Betsy as well as Aunt Kathy and her four adorable kids, my cousins Emma, Jake, Tyler and Kyle. It was such a nice visit but it went by too quickly. Watch out, Oregon - next time I'm coming back for a whole week!

Here are a few highlights.
My cousins gave me lots of love and attention and cheered me on as I showed off my moves.

Emma and Aunt Kathy held me so much and showered me with affection and attention!
And last, but most certainly not least, I got to spend lots of time with my wonderful Grandma Betsy, who gave me lots of attention and was super nice to me, even when I cried (and cried and cried.)

Bye for now to all my friends and family in Salem! I will be back soon!
